We are the Future Generations Foundation (FG Foundation).
We are rooted in the aspiration to:
- Build on the legacy and reputation of the NIB Trust Fund.
- Honour the strength and resilience of First Nations people and survivors.
- Commit to a strong future for First Nations peoples across Turtle Island, for countless generations.
Our new name symbolizes the enduring spirit of resilience, integrity, and hope inherent in First Nations peoples – a tribute to who we always have been, who we are, and who we are becoming.
Today, we proudly move forward into a new era as the Future Generations Foundation.
We remain a national organization with regional representation and the largest Non-Government funder of Indigenous education, culture, and healing initiatives in the country. We remain steadfast in our support of First Nations peoples, groups, and communities to catalyze change. We look forward to the path ahead as we build partnerships on our collective journey forward - Beyond Reconciliation.
